Randy Litzinger is a professional photographer based in Gainesville / Warrenton / Haymarket, in northern VA, close to Washington, D.C.. He specializes in sports photography, photojournalism, documentary family photography, event photography, portraits, headshots, wedding photography, engagement / family / baby portraits, lifestyle photography, old photo restoration, advertising/commercial, food photography, photo editing, and film set photography.

His images appear in: Sports Illustrated, ESPN Magazine, Forbes, TV Guide, The Hockey News, SI.com, espn.com, Sports Illustrated for Kids, Street & Smith's, Lindy's, and various other national and regional magazines. His images have also appeared on over 200 football cards. 

Randy's images have also appeared on 47 magazine covers, including 9 Sporting News covers, and 2 Sports Illustrated covers.

Randy was born and raised in Johnstown, PA.  A talented artist and drawer from early childhood, he excelled at photorealistic drawing and painting in high school before attending Penn State University and majoring in Drawing & Painting, Photography, and Film & Video. He cut his teeth at sports photography and documentary photojournalism at the nationally recognized Penn State Daily Collegian newspaper and website.

For 13 years, Randy worked for a community newspaper, website, and magazine media company in northern Virginia, serving as the Photo Editor / Chief Photographer for the Warrenton, VA office, covering Fauquier County and Prince William County, in addition to his freelance sports photography, documentary photojournalism, and portrait work.

Starting in October of 2017, Randy is freelancing full-time, available for editorial, advertising/commercial, wedding, and personal/family photography assignments.
